Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information WedScripts Studio collects, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to build and host your invitation.

1. Information we collect

Invitation details you provide — names, event date, venue, schedule, and any text or images you submit for your invitation.
Contact details — the email address (and phone number, if given) we use to deliver your link and respond to enquiries.
RSVP responses — if your plan includes an RSVP form, the names and responses your guests submit.
Payment information — handled entirely by our payment provider; we do not see or store your card details.
Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) used for security and to keep the service running.

2. How we use your information

To design, build, host, and deliver your invitation.
To collect and pass RSVP responses to the couple the invitation belongs to.
To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
To process your order and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
To protect our service against abuse and security threats.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider, PayPal. When you pay, your payment and billing information is collected and processed by PayPal under their own privacy policy. We receive only confirmation of the order and the details needed to fulfil it.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the service — for example, hosting infrastructure, our database provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment provider. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us and are required to protect it.

5. RSVP and guest data

RSVP information belongs to the couple whose invitation collected it. We treat it as confidential, never make it public, and use it only to make it available to that couple. Guests who respond to an invitation can contact us to have their response removed.

6. Data retention

We keep invitation and RSVP data for as long as the invitation is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of renewal or support requests. Order records are kept as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your data sooner where we are not legally required to keep it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to restrict how we use it. To make a request, email us at studio@wedscripts.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to act quickly if an issue arises.

9. Children

Our Services are intended for adults arranging their own events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
